Chris qualified in 1972, taking up his first role in a London practice before spending many years as a partner at a firm in Salisbury. He joined Godwins in 2009 and now advises on all aspects of commercial and residential property matters. Chris has a particularly strong reputation in the area and is familiar to land agents and developers throughout the region.

He can advise on the disposal and acquisition of development land, Landlord and Tenant matters planning, licensed premises, agricultural matters and residential transactions. He has advised one of the largest private development companies in the UK, a large offshore LLP owning a Distribution Depot, as well as two well known UK pension providers and landowners whose landholdings have been promoted for major development sites.

Chris has been a Notary Public since 1984 and is always happy to help with relevant matters.

Away from the office, Chris enjoys all sports, particularly cricket and he has an excellent knowledge of good food and fine wine.
