After studying at Cambridge University Anna qualified in 1995 with one of the larger firms in the City of London and in 2001 she became a partner at Godwins. On 1st April 2015 when Godwins converted to LLP status Anna became Chairman of the LLP. She heads up the commercial property team and advises on development for both commercial and residential use, farm sales and purchases and related matters and deals involving offices, retail and light industrial premises, both for occupational use and investment purposes.
She prides herself on bringing an efficient personal service to matters, whether it be for the acquisition and disposal of land and buildings, drafting and negotiating leases and options or advising on matters arising from the landlord and tenant relationship. She will also handle lease renewals, all aspects of property management, residential and commercial development (including drafting and negotiating planning and infrastructure agreements) and secured lending.
Anna is well-known in the area for her commercial property advice and advises, amongst others, SME’s, pension funds, developers, landowners, corporate and private investors and charitable institutions. Her recent work has included working with landowners and developers on complex development agreements, the refinancing of a shopping centre and with a large agricultural landowner on the change in use of agricultural buildings.
